Bringing Peruvian Cowboy Cuisine to Austin, Texas
For the first installment of World to Table, we created an immersive culinary journey where culture and cuisine inspire you to travel the world - bringing a taste of Peru to people in the heart of Texas. Inspired by Cowboy Culture in Austin, we created an authentic dining experience that transports guests to an unexpected travel destination bringing people together through their shared Cowboy Culture. James Beard Award-Winning Peruvian Chef Valerie Chang served an authentic plate, surrounded by an authentic place at Lone Star Ranch in Austin, with special moments that celebrated Peru’s rich traditions.
Amex and Delta’s refreshed card benefits seamlessly integrated into our experience. Including the Rideshare Benefit for transport to and from the venue, Companion Certificate providing CMs a plus one, and our dining focused experience spotlighted the Resy Benefit.
The evening featured traditional Peruvian musical performances - RAYMI, authentic Aji Verde hot sauce in custom bottles, and each guest received a complimentary Peruvian hat from Andeana Hats (who partners with Awamaki, a non-profit working closely with indigenous communities in the remote mountains of Peru to empower women and connect them to global marketplaces) Guest could choose an Intention Band that they resonated with based on the design and meaning behind them to customize their hat.

Responsible for the design vision, lead a team of graphic designers, 3D designers and technical designers, site visits, created mood boards, layout and flow, sourcing, worked closely and collaborated with catering team and finally working closely with vendors to review and approve fabrication drawings.
